At Fleet Valley we provide twenty-four hour nursing care for our residents.
We offer twenty-four hour nursing care and have a nurse clinician on a daily basis, who works closely with our experienced staff, to plan and review care. While we don’t have a nurse on shift 24 hours a day, our dedicated and committed team are on hand around the clock.
Care is provided through our team of qualified care and nursing staff, each of whom have a particular interest in care of the elderly and are experienced in caring for those with physical disabilities, those who are terminally ill, those with high dependency needs and those who become infirm.
Our team are continually improving their care knowledge and skills, and as part of this, a number of our staff have completed Macmillan Cancer Support training: Foundations in Palliative Care (FIPC).
We operate a Key Worker teams system, where residents meet and form support links with the team or a specific member of the team if they prefer. Your Key Worker will be responsible for assessing your needs and preparing a care plan, as well as delivering and evaluating the care you receive.
